What is corporate housing?

Corporate housing is a type of temporary housing that is typically used by business travelers, relocating employees, and others who need a place to stay for a short period of time. Unlike traditional hotels, corporate housing offers fully furnished apartments or houses that are equipped with all the amenities of home, including a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and more. This type of housing is often more cost-effective than staying in a hotel for an extended period

of time, and it provides a more comfortable and convenient living experience.

What’s included in the monthly fee?

The rental fee covers the fully equipped and furnished unit, parking (varies), utilities, and wifi. 

What’s the payment rate structure?

Our rates are broken down by month and day, making it easier to compare them to your typical hotel rate. If the month has less than or more than 30 days, we will use the daily rate to calculate your total costs for the month.

Besides the monthly rent rate, are there other additional fees? 

Yes. In addition to the monthly price, the following fees are required:

  • Application Fee - $55

  • Security Deposit (Refundable) - $300

  • Cleaning Fee - $100 -$150 (actual rate depends on the property size)

Is there a minimum or maximum stay required?

Yes. The minimum stay is 30 days, and maximum is 6 months before re-negotiating contract.

What is our Cancellation Policy?

This policy applies to all rental bookings for stays of 30 days or longer (midterm stays). Please read it carefully before confirming your reservation.

Cancellation Requests:

  1. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to stay@homebasecoho.com.

  2. The effective date of the cancellation will be the date we receive your email request.

 

Security Deposit and Rental Fee Refunds:

Your eligibility for a refund of the security deposit and/or rental fees is determined by when we receive your written cancellation request:

Before Check-in Date:

- Security Deposit Refund: No Refund

- First 30 Days' Rental Fee Refund: Refund, less any processing or cancellation fees (if applicable)

After Check-in Date:

- Security Deposit Refund: No Refund

- First 30 Days' Rental Fee Refund: No Refund

Specific Stipulations:

  • Security Deposit: The security deposit is non-refundable for all cancellations, whether the cancellation request is made before or after the scheduled check-in date.

  • Rental Fees (First 30 Days):

    • If you cancel before the scheduled check-in date, the rental fee for the first 30 days will be refunded, less any specific processing or cancellation fees detailed in your individual lease agreement.

    • If you cancel on or after the scheduled check-in date, the rental fee for the first 30 days is non-refundable.

  • Rental Fees (Beyond 30 Days): If you checked in and are canceling your reservation early (i.e., you are cutting short a stay that was booked for longer than 30 days), any rental fees paid for days beyond the initial 30-day period may be refunded on a pro-rata basis. This is subject to review and may be further defined in your individual lease agreement.

Refund Processing

  1. Refunds, if applicable based on the table and stipulations above, will be processed within 7-10 business days of the cancellation confirmation.

  2. All eligible refunds will be issued by check and mailed to the address on file for your reservation.

Are pets allowed in our properties?

Some of our properties are pet friendly. However, policies across our properties vary and may change often so we ask that you consult with us to confirm which property is pet friendly. Pet friendly properties must abide by our pet policy.

What documentation is required to get started?

Our guests can secure a listing through various platforms--Airbnb, Vrbo, Furnished Finder, etc.-- or book directly through us. As such, documentation requirements will vary based on the platform used to process your reservation. However, at minimum, a copy of an ID or Driver's License for each guest is required. Additionally, we may run a background check as part of our approval process.
